MMI contributes to important Katrina Relief Walk Charity

On October 8, 2005 MMI sponsored the Katrina Relief Walk “Families Helping Families”. The event was a resounding success: in total, under the stewardship of Kriste Karolak and Chrissie Smith and the co-sponsorship of Clear!Blue, the Katrina Relief Walk raised nearly $15,000.00 for the American Red Cross, which is a significant and generous achievement.

The walk, although a bit chilly, was a wonderful event for all of the families involved and especially for the children, who enjoyed the Huntington Woods School Park immensely. MMI will continue to support a tradition of charitable giving, such as the Katrina Relief Walk and our most recent charitable donation through ATD to the Dove House in Charlotte, NC and the national office for Special Olympics.
